Who you're working with

Edits by Sampu is a one-person video editing service run by Sampu. Contact: sampuushibabhakti@gmail.com. By sending material for editing or paying for a plan, you agree to these terms.

What I do

I edit video and audio that you provide (for example podcast episodes) into short vertical clips with captions, titles and descriptions. I don't post on your accounts unless we agree to that in writing, and I never ask for your passwords.

Your content and your rights

• You confirm that you own the material you send me, or have permission to have it edited and published, including the voices and faces of any guests.
• You are responsible for what you publish, and for following the rules of the platforms you post on.
• I don't use your material for anything except your project. I only show your clips in my portfolio if you say yes in writing.
• Music I add comes from royalty-free libraries whose license allows use in videos, or I leave music out. If you send your own music, you're responsible for having the rights to it.
• I can refuse material that is illegal, hateful, sexual or that I believe you don't have the rights to.

The 3 free Shorts come with no obligation. You can keep and use them whether or not you buy a plan.

Plans and payment

• Plans are billed monthly in US dollars, paid in advance through PayPal, Wise or Payoneer. For a first month, we can split payment into two halves.
• Payment fees charged by the payment provider are not included in the price unless stated.
• Clips for a month are delivered over that month, as agreed when you sign up.

Revisions

Each clip includes one round of changes requested within 7 days of delivery. Bigger changes (a completely different moment, a new style) count as a new clip.

Who owns the finished clips

Once a clip is paid for, you own the finished clip and can use it however you like. I keep the rights to my own templates, tools and methods.

No guaranteed results

Views, followers and income depend on the platforms, your audience and many things outside my control. Numbers on this website are from my own channels and are not a promise of what your clips will get.

Cancelling and refunds

• You can cancel anytime. The plan stops at the end of the month you've paid for.
• If I can't deliver the clips you paid for, you get a refund for the clips not delivered.
• Payments for clips already delivered are not refundable.

Privacy of your material

Unreleased episodes and files stay private. I delete your source files within 30 days after the last delivery, or sooner if you ask. See the privacy page.

Limits of liability

I do my work with care, but to the extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me in the month before the claim. I'm not responsible for indirect losses such as lost income, or for actions platforms take on your account.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version applies to work ordered after the change date shown above. These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
